Getting There

By Air

Flying In

Two airport options:

  • Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) — drive or take a shuttle south to Niagara Falls (~90 min)
  • Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) — just across the border, ~30 min drive
By Rail or Road

Scenic Route

Take Amtrak's Maple Leaf Line from Penn Station in NYC — a beautiful ride through Upstate New York. Or drive through Upstate New York and cross into Canada via the Rainbow Bridge for a dramatic arrival overlooking the Falls.

Crossing the Border

Documentation

  • All visitors need a valid, active passport
  • Prepare a CBSA Declaration Card for customs
  • Check the list of restricted items before packing
  • The ArriveCAN app is no longer required (as of October 1, 2022) but was previously mandatory — good to have just in case
  • COVID-19: Proof of vaccination and pre-board testing requirements were lifted October 1, 2022. That said, if you have symptoms or a positive test, please stay home and rest up — we'll celebrate with you another time!

Getting Around Niagara

On Foot

Walking

Niagara Falls is very walkable along the parkway. Comfortable, broken-in shoes are highly recommended — you'll be covering a lot of ground on the mist-dampened paths.

Transit

Public Transit

Niagara has convenient public transit that connects major attractions along the Niagara Parkway. Great for hopping between sights without worrying about parking.

Shuttle Service (Wedding Day)

A shuttle will run on July 15th between The Oakes Garden Theatre and Queen Victoria Place Restaurant:

5:30 PM – 6:30 PM EDT

Where to Stay

Finding a Hotel

There's no reserved hotel block — the area has so many great options that a block wouldn't have provided a meaningful discount. Suggested dates: July 14–17, 2023.

The venue is at 5825 River Rd, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 3K9. Staying nearby on the Canadian side puts you steps from the Falls and the reception.
